Bangkok holiday!

Arrived in Bangkok this morning. What a change from 14 degrees and pouring rain in Stavanger to 32 degrees and sunny Bangkok! Despite from the long walk from the gate to the baggage claim area it was a very pleasant trip! Bought ourselves another noise reduction headset, so this time I even slept for some hours. BLISS!!!

Took a taxi to our friends huge apartment and went for a late lunch. He lives in the Sukhumvit area, and here as everywhere else it is CROWDED with people, cars, outdoor shops, food stalls, fake Chanel & Armani, tailors and noise! What a cacophony! Fantastisk!!!

Just to check in and confirm that we have landed

Roger Waters – The Wall 2010 !!!

Guess what! I just received our tickets to The Wall i Las Vegas! Yiiiieeeyyhhh…!!!! We will celebrate Ian’s 50th birthday with a big BANG! And add some athletics to it, by hopefully visiting the Cirque du Soleil show Ká as well while we are there. Just have to wait a couple of months to buy those tickets. They are not out for sale until late July. What a week in November this can be!!!

Crete, Greece

Just came over some really silly cheap tickets to Crete, Greece. Leaving Stavanger for 1 week, flight and appartment included for just $250 per person. We plan to go all four of us! Cannot let these tickets slip through our fingers! And what a great way to start the summer in advance! And maybe get a sun tan…

This picture is from the south western part of Crete. Hopefully we will get the chance to take a boat trip to Santorini too. From pictures is looks lovely there!

The garden is blooming

Today there came another 30 cm new snow in the eastern parts of Norway. Luckily not in our garden! Finally! We had to scrape our front windows of the car yesterday morning for ice, though… Tomorrow is the BIG day! Ians day

From Blogger to WordPress

Today I switched the blogger service from Blogger.com to WordPress.org after having tested a few different free Blog engines. So far this one seems even easier to administer, and the user interface is simple but still very comprehensive with far more tools. WordPress also gives the possibility “mail-to-blog” which is essential to me since the blog mainly will be used “live”.

And the blog posts from Blogger.com? Simply imported with one click of a button! Smooth!

Prague day 3

Oh what a wonderful morning! Still blue sky and warm weather. Shopping is great and yesterdays dinner at the Restaurant Mustek was a fantastic culinaric experience.

Sitting at the restaurant El Toro Negro enjoying life and tiger shrimps. Still sooo warm and quiet. No cars, few tourists and perfect company. Have been shopping for a few hours. We are three happy girls
